About Sleeping Beauty
Sleeping Beauty (1959) is the last animated feature produced by Walt Disney based on fairy tale. The film follows a young princess called Aurora, who is cursed by the evil with, Maleficent, to suffer an early death from a prick on a spindle of the spinning wheel. Fortunately, princess Aurora is saved by three good fairies, who changed the curse so that princess Aurora sleeps indefinitely instead of dying. The only way the princess can be woken up from the deep sleep is by a kiss from a true love.
